We are happy to announce that a seminar called Innovation and Entrepreneurship Seminar is being held on 7^th January 2011 at Rajam Hall in M.I.T.Campus in Chromepet.

Mr Mannar Jawahar, Vice Chancellor will give the keynote address, and Dr Joseph Stanely, Dean will preside.

This is the first time in the history of our Association, we have gathered around nine M.I.T. Alumni, who have started their own outfits, to address the seminar. They will tell us what inspired them to start on their own, what were the initial problems, and also enumerate all the problems they had faced thereafter and how they have overcome them. The seminar is coordinated by Mr T A S Balagopal ( Tno : 3) who was the former Export Director of Tata Motors.

We have also requested an expert to deliver a talk on ‘Venture Capital’.

This is the first such seminar, and we intend conducting this every year. As you would have guessed, this is an effort on the part of MITAA to encourage as many Alumni as possible to take the path of  being an entrepreneur.
